The client.
R&P China Lawyers is an international law firm in China. It provides Chinese legal, tax and compliance support to foreign companies investing, operating and doing business across the country.
The challenge.
The firm's old website no longer reflected the quality of its work. The homepage opened with a generic city photo and the line "Local expertise, international perspective", which said little about what the firm actually does or who it helps.
Below that, twelve practice areas were packed into a dense grid of dark image tiles, the body text was small and low in contrast, and there was no clear next step for a visitor who wanted to talk to a lawyer.

Our approach.
A clear message first
We replaced the vague tagline with a direct headline, "Practical legal expertise for international business in China", and a short line explaining the firm's legal, tax and compliance support.
Editorial, authoritative design
A classic serif for headlines, clean sans-serif body text and the firm's red as a focused accent give the site the confident feel of a premium law firm.
Easy paths to an inquiry
A prominent "Explore Our Expertise" button and the firm's phone number sit right in the hero, so a potential client can act without searching.
Mobile-first layouts
Every section was designed to stack cleanly on phones and tablets, with readable text sizes and comfortable tap targets.
